一天，他到楚国拜访，看见一位美丽的女子。
She was Xi Gui, a well-known beauty from Chu.
她就是楚国的美人，名叫息妫。
Xi Gui was not only beautiful but also kind and graceful.
息妫不仅长得漂亮，还十分温柔大方。
King Kang saw her once and was immediately drawn to her.
宋康王看了一眼，便被她深深吸引。

他决定派使者去楚国，请求迎娶息妫。

楚王知道后，觉得宋康王是真心喜欢息妫。
So, he agreed to the marriage and sent Xi Gui to Song.
于是，他答应了这门亲事，让息妫嫁到宋国。
On their wedding day, King Kang was overjoyed and cherished Xi Gui deeply.
大婚那天，宋康王高兴极了，对息妫十分疼爱。
From then on, they lived happily together in love.
从那以后，宋康王和息妫恩爱非常。
