Things Will Reverse When They Reach Their Extreme

There was a minister named Li Si who helped Emperor Qin Shi Huang unify China.

Li Si was very smart and helped Qin Shi Huang create many laws.

Emperor Qin Shi Huang began to be very strict, wanting to make the country stronger.

He began to take extreme actions, like burning books and banning speech.

Li Si thought these measures were effective, so he supported the emperor.

As time passed, Qin Shi Huang's policies became more and more harsh.

He forced the people to do many hard tasks.

He also increased control over the people, limiting their freedoms.

The people began to feel oppressed and grew increasingly unhappy.

However, both Qin Shi Huang and Li Si believed these measures would make the country stronger.

Gradually, the people's anger grew, and riots began to break out.

Many people started to rebel, and the country's situation became unstable.

Even though Qin Shi Huang tried to suppress the rebellions, the results got worse.

In the end, the Qin Dynasty's rule collapsed completely, and the country fell into chaos.

Li Si also paid a heavy price for supporting extreme policies.

He finally understood that excessive oppression only leads to rebellion.

"Everything Reaches Its Limit and Then Reverses" means that when things reach an extreme point, they will inevitably reverse.

It means that when anything goes to an extreme, the opposite result will occur.

If one suppresses too much, it may lead to a greater backlash.

Therefore, one should avoid going to extremes and should act with moderation.
