Safe and Sound

A merchant had a large ship and was preparing to sail for business.
商人有一艘大船,准备出海做生意。

He told the crew, "Be careful on this journey."
他告诉船员:“这次航行要小心。”

The crew agreed to be careful.
船员们都答应会很小心。

As soon as they set sail, a strong wind suddenly blew.
刚出海,突然刮起了大风。

The waves were huge, and the ship rocked violently.
海浪很大,船被晃得很厉害。

The crew became scared and nervously watched the sea.
船员们都很害怕,紧张地看着海面。

The merchant remained calm and directed the crew to control the ship.
商人保持冷静,指挥大家控制船只。

He ordered the crew to adjust the sails and steady the ship.
他让船员调整帆布,稳住了船身。

After a few hours, the storm passed, and the ship finally steadied.
风暴过了几小时,船终于稳住了。

The next day, the sea was calm, and everything was peaceful again.
第二天,风平浪静,海面恢复平静。

The crew looked around and sighed in relief.

They were amazed to see that the ship hadn't been damaged.

"Safe and sound" means to be unharmed and in peace.
安然无恙,意思是平安无事,毫发无损。

In difficult situations, staying calm can help you overcome any obstacle.
遇到困难时,只要冷静,就能平安渡过。
