A long time ago, two merchants started a business together.
古时候，有两个商人一起做生意。
They opened a shop and soon their business became very successful.

However, before long, they argued about how to split the money.

One merchant said, "I worked harder, so I should take more."

Their argument grew worse, and they finally decided to separate.

But after parting ways, both of their businesses began to decline.

One day, one merchant saw that his old partner’s shop was also empty.

He thought for a while, then walked into the shop.

His friend hesitated for a moment, then nodded.

They decided to let go of the past and start fresh.

They finally understood that arguing was useless.
