Sweet Words, Hidden Sword

There was a businessman named Mr. Zhang, and he was very good with words.

Every time he met someone, he would say, "You are so smart! You are so talented!"

Everyone thought he was a good person and was willing to do business with him.

One day, Mr. Zhang borrowed money from his friend, Mr. Li.

He said, "Mr. Li, you have such good insight, you must be able to make money, lend me some to help!"

Mr. Li thought it made sense, so he agreed to lend him the money.

After getting the money, Mr. Zhang started doing dishonest things.

He secretly used the borrowed money to do bad things, with no intention of paying it back.

When Mr. Li found out, he felt very sad and angry.

He realized that while Mr. Zhang spoke sweetly, he had bad intentions.

Even though Mr. Zhang kept praising him as smart, Mr. Li knew it was just for his own benefit.

Mr. Li finally saw Mr. Zhang’s true face.

He decided never to trust Mr. Zhang's sweet words again.

From then on, Mr. Li understood the danger of people with sweet words but hidden blades.

People who speak sweetly may not be sincere; actions are what truly matter.

He decided to be more cautious in the future and not trust others easily.
