临时抱佛脚
Seek Buddha's Feet at the Last Moment

There was a student who was about to take an important exam.

He didn’t study hard usually and often played around.

As the exam drew near, he became very anxious.

He decided to go to the temple to pray, hoping for good luck.

The night before the exam, he was still scrambling to study.

He knew in his heart that praying alone wouldn't change the outcome.

The next day, the exam started.

He felt very nervous because he wasn’t well prepared.

During the exam, he couldn’t answer many of the questions.

He realized that last-minute effort didn’t help him succeed.

From then on, he decided to study hard from the start.

This story tells us that we shouldn’t only try to work hard at the last minute.

True success comes from consistent effort over time.
