He went to learn blacksmithing, but soon he complained it was too hot.
他又去学打铁，可没多久又嫌太热。
“Maybe I should learn medicine, doctors are well respected,” he thought.
“还是去学医吧，医生受人尊敬。”
So, he changed masters and began learning medicine.
他换了师父，开始学医。
But there were too many herbs to remember, so he gave up again.
可看到药草太多，背不住，他又放弃了。
Then, he heard that farming could make him rich.
这时，他听说种田也能发财。
So, he went to learn farming.
于是，他又去学种田。
But the sun was too hot, and he quickly lost interest again.
可太阳太晒，他很快也不想干了。
In this way, he never stuck with anything for long.

After a few years, he had not mastered any skills.
几年过去，他什么本事都没学会。
He regretted, "If only I had focused on one thing from the start."

This story tells us that to succeed, we must focus and not be half-hearted.
