In a small cottage near the forest, a mother goat lived with her seven little kids.

One morning, she told her children, “I must go to gather food. Beware of the wolf!”

She warned them, “The wolf will try to trick you. Only open the door if you hear my gentle voice and see my white paw.”
她叮嘱道：“狼会用诡计骗你们。只有听到我的温柔声音，看到我的白色蹄子，才能开门。”
The little goats promised to be careful, and the mother goat left.
小山羊们答应会小心，母羊便离开了。
Soon, the wolf arrived, knocking on the door. “It’s your mother! Let me in!” he said, imitating her voice.

But the kids noticed his rough voice and refused to open the door.

He returned to the door, and when the kids saw the white paw, they believed it was their mother.

As soon as they opened the door, the wolf burst in and chased them.

The kids scrambled to hide: one under the bed, another in the oven, and others in various corners.
