The Ugly Duckling

Once upon a time, in a quiet countryside, a mother duck sat on her nest, waiting for her eggs to hatch.

One by one, the eggs cracked open, and out came tiny, fluffy ducklings. But one egg, the biggest of all, didn’t hatch right away.

Finally, the big egg cracked open, and out came a strange-looking duckling. It was bigger and greyer than the others.

The other ducklings teased him. "You're so ugly!" they said, laughing at him.

The ugly duckling felt very sad and decided to leave the farm to find a place where he belonged.

As the seasons changed, the ugly duckling wandered alone through the cold winter.

When spring came, the duckling saw his reflection in the water. He had grown into a beautiful swan!

Other swans swam around him and admired his beauty. The ugly duckling was ugly no more.

Moral of the story: Don't judge by appearances. True beauty shines from within.
